πŸŒ• ARTEMIS 2: Humans Return to the Moon πŸš€

April 10th, 2026 – After more than 53 years, humans travel around the Moon again. The Artemis 2 mission launches from Florida, at the Kennedy Space Center. Four astronauts are on board: Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen.

The Orion spacecraft flies toward the Moon. During the trip, the astronauts send messages to Earth and make scientific experiments. They spend eight days in space. For three days, they go around the Moon.

Today, April 10th, 2026, the Orion capsule returns to Earth. It lands in the Pacific Ocean with a giant parachute. The whole world celebrates: humanity returns to the Moon after a long time!

The success of Artemis 2 opens the way for Artemis 3, which will land on the lunar surface in 2027. Children and young people all over the planet feel inspired by this new space era. πŸŒŽπŸš€
